Testing a way to get media from my iphone to the world, video in particular. An app called Pixelpipe will let you do this but it is not ideal for my purposes. Not sure if I am going to use it yet or not… more testing is needed.

A little more CSS workings, a bunch of new pictures for the Gallery, a new custom header and added the Last.fm and Pandora widgets. Basically just playing around. And no, the Depeche Mode station in Pandora is not mine!

Adding some more travel pictures to the Gallery section. As well since upgrading to Wordpress 2.8 I am using a bit too much php memory for some of the larger thumbnail processing. I’m working on getting this straightened out, but until then a couple galleries might not be working, sorry.

Update: Should all be fixed now!

Spent a little time updating both my site and Jeanne’s. Laid down the password protect on some more private matters and did some css cleaning up as well. I’d say it is going pretty well overall, but I still have some CSS graphics issues I want to work out. I think I am going to have to ask a couple questions pretty soon.

Ack… trying to muddle my way through CSS. I am close but just can’t get the theme to work exactly how I want it. So please excuse any graphic weirdness while I work this out!

Sure not like the old days… “meh” in comparison to this jaded old gamer. Still, glad I’m here and a good amount of industry to stay up on but nothing like it used to be. The economic optimism and the industry vibrance and energy as a whole I feel has really changed a lot, for better of worse is up to each gamer to decide for themselves. I do have a fond nostalga for E3 and the scene as a whole, and while I can’t say it’s all in the past it’s previous allure is certainly in it’s twilight hours. Rebirth, positive evolution… We shall see.

Since you can find a zillion show pics around I never usually take that many of my own. But for a few pics of my own from the show check out the Gallery under Events.

Just had awesome Spaccanapoli style pizza with Jeanne at Pizza Mozza. She sure was on the money about the place. Oh and Paul McCartney and Dave Grohlo (foo fighters singer. I’d never had known who he was but Jeanne id’ed him) had a few pizzas with their respective ladies; was that baby shower gifts I saw, Paparazzi anywhere? Slightly surreal but fun none the less. No pics though since I wouldn’t let Jeanne do it considering they were sitting like 2 feet away!

Well we are here…Jeanne gets down to business and I start plotting my LA groove.
Next up Jeanne says I just gotta try Pizzeria Mozza so we are off to check it out soon.
E3 floor walking tomorrow, No one thing I’m super stoked about yet but still plenty of cool stuff to check out.

Jeanne and I are on our way to the airport for what I am sure will be an eventful trip. For better or worse I have decided I am going to try and blog it. I’m also gonna try do a lot of this from my iPhone which I’m sure will be an experiment unto itself!
